Saturday, September 21st- Tahoe City, California has their annual Oktoberfest! Bring the entire family for some family fun featuring a vendors village filled with north Tahoe’s amazing small business and talented artisan makers. Enjoy some live music and some amazing Bavarian-themed food options and delicious craft beers. Participate in all the fun games they have to offer and enjoy making your own Oktoberfest Pretzel Necklace!
Saturday, September 28th- Right here at the Truckee’s Kid zone Museum, enjoy a petting zoo, bulb planting, arts & crafts, bilingual singalong, museum play, face painting, & more!
Also happening on Saturday September 28th, Palisades, California is having their own Oktoberfest in the Village! This annual event transforms The Village into the largest Bavarian playground in North Lake Tahoe, complete with authentic German beer, Bavarian music, and dance, plus the ever-popular Oktoberfest Games and plenty of family fun.
Saturday, October 5th Truckee’s downtown Wine, Walk and Shop. Join us here at Tahoe Star Hotel for this amazing fall event in Historic downtown. Attendees will receive a commemorative wine glass to sample wine as well as delicious bite-sized snacks at a variety of downtown restaurants and merchants, plus a map to all participating venues, the Tahoe Star Hotel being one of the participating businesses! check in early and don’t worry about driving home!
We have all these amazing fall events that the community is offering, but we still have all the gorgeous fall views Truckee – Tahoe has to offer. Experience all the orange, gold, and red color change that happens here in the Sierra Nevada Experience some great mountain biking trails and the last of the kayaking and paddle boarding weather.
